ATHLETICS AT CANFORD SCHOOL

The Junior, Inter and Senior Boys and Girls teams travelled to Canford on Saturday and competed against the hosts, Clayesmore, Dauntseys and Milton Abbey.
The weather was glorious and the competition was hotly contested.  Kingswood were delighted to win four of  the 4 x 100m relays.

In the summertime

Mr Chua kindly organised a BBQ for the boarders on Sunday, taking advantage of some wonderful weather.  It proved a lovely break from exam revision.

The girls enjoyed perfect weather on the water on Sunday at the Minerva Rowing Club near Keynsham.

Senior Prefects Dinner

Last Friday the catering team put on a splendid meal for the Senior Prefects and House staff.  Head boy and Head girl Jack and Ellie gave a short speech and Mr Opie's reply was very entertaining.  The evening was hugely enjoyed by all.

Learning to capsize!
Last weekend Thea and Maddie had a session in the school pool to learn what to do if and when they capsized.  The girls have been training on dry land for Rowing and in preparation for the open water they had a training session in the pool...
